It’s time to celebrate like it’s 1980!
2025 marks forty-five years of Boothbay Region Land Trust protecting and providing access to the cherished natural areas of the Boothbay peninsula. To celebrate this special anniversary, the land trust will be going back to when it all began—1980. On Friday, July 11 from 5 to 9:30 p.m., BRLT will be holding an epic flashback fundraiser that will be the party of the summer! So, puff up your shoulder pads and press those linen suits for an elegantly eighties evening. This unforgettable night will take place at a stunning private residence on Hodgdon Cove where guests will enjoy beautiful shoreside views including Oak Point Farm, while wining, dining, and dancing the night away to some pumped up 80s jams.
The BRLT Birthday Bash will be a party like no other! Delicious food, cocktails and an open-bar will be provided all night long courtesy of premier caterers, Seacoast Catering & Lobster Bakes. Attendees will have the chance to bid on a number of incredible experiences and items during a special silent auction available only to guests of the Birthday Bash. This is your opportunity to purchase some truly unique experiences and items including a four-day stay in the beautifully rustic cottage on Damariscove Island; the use of the Oak Point Farm Nature Center for up to fifty people; and a sunset paddle with cocktails on Spectacle Island led by BRLT Executive Director and Maine Guide, Nick Ullo. These and other never before offered experiences could be yours, so get your tickets today and be ready to place your bids!
Of course, no eighties party would be complete without music! Two 07 DJ Services will be delivering your favorite eighties tunes all night long in the beautifully renovated barn, complete with dance floor. Join your land trust friends for a night to remember while helping to raise funds for the next forty-five years of conservation!
Tickets are $250/person to enjoy this high-spirited evening of music, food, dancing, bidding, and natural beauty—all in support of land protection and public access! Don’t miss out on some chic 80s flashback fun at a stunning private residence, all for a good cause!
