Halloween, on a Friday? Is it Christmas?! Pretty much! Gather on the Library Lawn for the equivalent of Paris Fashion Week in Boothbay Harbor.

So is it Christmas, or fashion week?

Neither! It’s the World’s Best Halloween Parade on Friday, Oct. 31. The parade departs at 4 p.m. from Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library.

Warm cider will be served by our friends at the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce. Downtown businesses will regale paraders with sugar and spice.

The route ends at the Opera House with a Trunk-Or-Treat. Current trunkers include: Hannaford, Big Al's, Three Buoys, Boothbay Harbor First Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Boothbay Register, First National Bank, Boothbay Region Ambulance Service, and Berlin Family.

New this year: a trophy to be awarded by paraders for #1 Trunk! Who will win? Could it be you? There is still plenty of time to sign-up to host a trunk! Contact Savannah at development@bbhlibrary.org. Trunk set up begins at 3 p.m. Sign-up required.
