Mon, 07/20/2026 - 3:30pm
The Boothbay Planning Board approved three applications July 15. The board approved a permit for Ronnie and Jaimie Campbell to create a four-lot subdivision on Back River Road. The lot was subdivided into two lots in 2023. The Campbells requested a further subdivision into a four-lot parcel.
The board placed two conditions which required including a turnaround shown on their plans and showing a 50-foot right-of-way on the plan instead of the 40-foot one shown. The property is in a rural mixed-use district.
The board also approved a request to stabilize 150 feet of shoreline with riprap and native plantings on an Ocean Point Road location. Thornton Lockwood Jr. and Deanne Moore of Chesire, Connecticut made the request. The property is in a coastal residential district and shoreland overland zone.
PGC2, LLC received approval to build two villas with three units in each and make other site improvements for parking, utilities, and stormwater management features at their 50 Sugar Maple Lane location. The property is in the Boothbay Village Fringe District and Watershed Protection Overlay Zone.
The board meets next on Wednesday, July 29 in the conference room.
